Byron Browne Actor/Producer/Writer
Browne was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1974. He attended Central H.S. in St. Joseph, Missouri and was drafted in the 13th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1991 as a Starting Pitcher. He played professionally for 9 seasons in the Brewers farm system. His career highlight was getting called up to the Big Leagues in 1994 from the AA champions El Paso Diablos to go immediately on strike during the 1994 MLB season which was canceled after failed negotiations between the Players Union and Owners. He was sent back to the minors after the strike was over in 1995. He was the number two pitching prospect in the organization for the next two seasons and won 10 games in almost every season he pitched in and a career E.R.A of 4.02. He was invited to Spring Training with the Big Club for three years. His career ended in 2000 after two surgeries to his pitching arm. Byron has also starred and carried films as an Actor, and co-starred in numerous of films that have done well on the big screen. Some of Byron’s credits are Jarhead, The Kingdom, The Young and The Restless, Yesterday’s Tomorrow. With his past being in Professional baseball for a decade his professionalism as well as his discipline to be able to perform under pressure will help him get a film in the can.

Derek Lakeith Martin Actor/Producer/Director
Martin was born in Chicago Illinois in 1976 Derek was made to be behind the camera his tenacity it like his size. Derek is known as the gentle giant standing at 6 foot 6 a former football player who’s professionalism is smooth as his charm. Derek knows how to ask the right questions to the companies and do the Due Diligence needed on future Partners with the Company. He will get the film in the can with using his resources and his gentle charm in closing deals and using his resources to complete any project. Derek has helped produce Yesterday’s Tomorrow, and has recently starred in The Whistler as Leroy Jenkins as an actor.

A 22Seventeen Production was created by SAG actors Byron Browne and Derek Martin to bring a new meaning to creating independent film. After a decade in the business the two actors joined as a team by developing their own screenplays to produce. Byron is the creative venue by writing 3 screenplays and Derek being the deal closer and the traditional producer in seeing the product through production and distribution. They strive to create films that not only audiences will enjoy but the ones they hire as well, be it actors or crew will have a life long experience like no other. They intend to Market and have the money raised to market their projects. Unlike most independent film which rely on Film Festivals to promote their films, A 22Seventeen will do everything to market their film by budgeting Marketing in all of their films to obtain the initial investment from Partners, Bank Lenders, and Angel Investors.

  Byron and Derek frequently attend Workshops and Film seminars as well as film festivals and network with those on Movie Sets to create new relationships with Crew, casting directors, actors, people associated with the Arizona Film Commission, producers, Tax Credit Companies, Screen Actors Guild, Agents as well as potential investors and distributors to help get their production company known throughout the Industry.

A 22 Seventeen Production is a privately held Limited Liability Company  which is owned by Byron Browne and Derek Martin. Created in 2007, Byron and Derek have the burning desire to get their films "In the Can" and raising the funds themselves out of their own pockets to start the process of getting the production ready for filming
